REMATINVEST S.R.L. with registered office in Cluj-Napoca, Piața Timotei Cipariu, nr. 15, bl. 3A, Mezzanine, Sp. Com. 66A/66B, jud. Cluj, identified by C.U.Î. RO15705409 and registered at O.R.C. under no. J12/2449/2003, is a legal entity under private law which, together with the partner companies in the group, is recognized to be one of the largest processors in the field of collection, processing and marketing of reusable materials (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper and cardboard, wood).

At the same time, REMATINVEST S.R.L is a legal entity responsible for the processing of personal data that it collects directly from you or from other sources, as a result of your accessing and viewing the information on the website or submitting information by you through the contact form. In collecting such data, REMATINVEST acts as a personal data controller and we are required by law to provide you with information about us, the types of personal data we collect, how we use the information, to whom the data is disclosed, and the rights and choices that individuals have regarding the processing of personal data.
We have also made every effort to implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information in order to process your data securely, and this policy describes the measures we put in place to ensure the security of your information and how you can contact us about our data protection practices and to exercise your rights.

www.rematinvest.ro is the official website of REMATINVEST S.R.L. which offers users two types of access to information:
1. Access to the public area of the website, providing the possibility to view general information about the Company, the group's partner companies and their activities, to apply for a vacant position within the Company, as well as to ensure effective communication with users through the website (Contact section).
2. Private or restricted access, intended only for company employees in order to provide them with easy access to information of general interest concerning the management of the Company, on the basis of a user account.
In general, it is our intention to collect personal data that is voluntarily provided by visitors to our website and that is necessary for us to be able to provide access to information about our business.

C. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

REMATINVEST S.R.L processes personal data collected through the website www.rematinvest.ro for the following purposes:
-Resolving/responding to queries, complaints and/or complaints submitted through the contact form.
-Registering an account and activating access to the private area of the REMATINVEST website containing confidential information for internal use by company employees;
-Account maintenance for access to the private area of the website; ;
- To administer and maintain the website, improve the experience offered on the website, various analyzes or reports on how the website is functioning or the consumption preferences of website users;
-Fulfillment of legal obligations in the context of carrying out the activity and business management operations: physical and electronic archiving of documents.
-To diagnose or fix technical problems with the website.
-For document archiving purposes, both in physical and electronic format.
-To establish or assert a right in court, settle disputes or investigations in which REMATINVEST is a party;
-For any other purposes compatible with the above.

D. GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING

The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the above purposes is:
- The processing of your data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you, as a data subject, are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to the conclusion of a contract, in accordance with Art. 6, lin. 1, lit. b) of EU Regulation 679/2016 (with regard to pre-contractual steps at the customer's request or to provide information about our services, as well as the actual purchase and/or sale of products, the provision of your personal data is necessary for the provision of an offer, the conclusion and/or execution of the contract, refusal to provide the data may result in the impossibility of carrying out the business relationship).
- The processing is necessary for the purposes of complying with a legal obligation incumbent on the controller pursuant to Art. c) of EU Regulation 679/2016 (in relation to the obligation of financial accounting recording of the operations carried out by the company, the obligation to archive documents, or to respond to user requests/complaints submitted via the website).
- The processing is necessary for the legitimate interest of continuously improving your website experience, for security (to keep this website secure against fraud and other illegal activities) and to protect the rights and interests of the Company and its collaborating partners, as provided for in Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f) of EU Regulation no. 679/2016.

E. DURATION OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

REMATINVEST S.R.L processes your personal data only for the time necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned processing purposes, and thereafter to comply with the legal requirements in force and to protect the legal rights and interests of the Company and the data subjects (users of our website).
In the case of data processing on the basis of the user account (the data associated with the account), the data will be processed or will remain in our possession until the account is deactivated. To the extent that the data will no longer be necessary to comply with the applicable legal requirements and to protect the interests of our Company, they will be deleted or anonymized.
The information collected by cookies is stored for 12 months for the purpose of analyzing and reporting website performance. It will be deleted after this period.

F. TRANSMISSION/ DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to fulfill the processing purposes, REMATINVEST S.R.L may disclose your personal data to partners, third parties or entities that support our activity through the website such as: IT service providers (maintenance, hosting, software development), archiving in physical/electronic format, legal services, as well as at the request of tax, judicial or other competent state control authorities, based on and within the limits of the legal provisions and following specific requests.
We may also pass the data on to other parties with your consent or in accordance with your instructions.
We will, within reasonable limits, ensure that your data does not leave the European Economic Area, but to the extent that we transfer data to countries outside the EEA, we will, in all cases, ensure that the transfers are legitimate, based on your explicit consent or other lawful basis.

G. YOUR RIGHTS

- The right to request access to your personal data : the right to obtain from REMATINVEST, upon request and free of charge, confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are processed by the Company and the right to be informed about such processing;
- The right to rectify your personal data : the right to obtain from the Company the rectification of your incorrect/incomplete personal data;
- The right to delete your personal data: the right to obtain from the Company the deletion of your personal data, but in this case you will no longer be able to access information based on your user account. This right will not be exercisable to the extent that REMATINVEST is required by law to retain and process certain personal data, for example in the case of the recording of accounting transactions. Data may be deleted in the following situations:
- they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
- where consent is withdrawn and there is no other legal basis for processing;
- if you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds;
- where personal data have been processed unlawfully
- where personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation;
- the personal data were collected in connection with the provision of information society services in accordance with Union or national law to which the controller is subject.
- Right to restrict processing: the right to obtain from the Company the restriction of processing in the following cases:
1. (i) the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you
2. (ii) the processing is unlawful and you therefore object to the erasure of your personal data, requesting instead the restriction of the processing.
3. (iii) REMATINVEST no longer needs your personal data, but you request this data for the establishment, exercise and defense of legal claims.
You have the right to object at any time, free of charge and without any justification, to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of advertising, marketing and publicity or to their disclosure to third parties for such purposes.
- The right to data portability, i.e. the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and easily readable format, as well as the right to have such data transferred by the Company to another data controller, provided that the conditions provided by law are met;
- The right to object is the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of data on the basis of legitimate interest, unless REMATINVEST has compelling legitimate grounds justifying the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subjects or where the purpose of the processing is the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
- The right not to be subject to an automated individual decision is the right not to be subject to a decision taken solely on the basis of automated processing activities, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly affects you to a significant extent;
- The right to lodge a complaint to the competent supervisory authority or courts when you believe that your personal data is unlawfully processed by the Company.
The aforementioned rights are expressly provided for in Regulation (EU) 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

H. HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL DATA

REMATINVEST S.R.L implements administrative, technical, organizational and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use for other purposes. We do our best to keep your data secure. We use secure protocols for communication and data transfer (such as HTTPS), use anonymization and pseudonymization where appropriate. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.
However, even if we do our best, we cannot guarantee that data transmissions over the Internet can be 100% secure. Nevertheless, we use website security measures in accordance with best practices to protect our website, emails and mailing lists.
We are also aware that incidents of misuse or unauthorized program incursions may occur. In these situations, our goals are to isolate the problem as quickly as possible to ensure or restore proper functionality and minimize inconvenience to our users. If necessary, we will inform the appropriate authorities of data security breaches.
